That Corporates were shuffling their chessboards; strategically shifting their focus to concentrate on Sustainability instead and ultimately prioritising Planet over People. Political commitments and public pledges to sustainability attainment by 2050 may have encouraged these thoughts.
Social Value, Inclusive Procurement, aka Supplier Diversity is very much alive and kicking. The pipeline for our Supplier Diversity services is substantive evidence of this.
In fact, it is now perhaps more important than ever before that businesses commit to their social and environmental ‘Purpose’ as reduced revenue generation may be the cost of a lack of compliance against the principles of People, Planet, Purpose.

The format gave the two parties opportunities to speak together, ask questions, and hear about the impact ESG will have across the Corporate world, and the ripple affect on Suppliers and Diverse Suppliers.
The conclusion of this webinar (see below for a link to the recording), and my thoughts in general, was that ESG strategies will be responsible for between 10-30% weighting/contribution on RFP/Tender submissions.
Failure to have an strategy to solve for an ESG agenda may result is losing out on tender bids and its rewards of revenue generation.
