It was for this very reason that we coined the phrase “Exclusive is not Inclusive”. We wanted to challenge the way Corporate Buyers engaged with diverse suppliers.

Our disruptive model recognised that relying solely on individual advocacy groups could inadvertently lead to exclusion. Instead, Kaleida sought to complement what already existed, widening access and levelling the playing field.

From the beginning, our message to suppliers was clear: diversity is a tool to open the door, but once at the table, it is competence that wins. Create access through diversity. Award on competency.

So when I hear the late Charlie Kirk’s words on DEI: “If I see a Black pilot, I'm going to be like, boy, I hope he's qualified”, I am reminded why Kaleida exists. DEI is not about lowering standards; it is about ensuring that diverse suppliers get the chance to compete fairly, so that capability and excellence determine the outcome.

With a focus on helping the Chief Procurement Office achieve its ESG goals, and alerting companies to new revenue opportunities, Kaleida's fully-inclusive platform helps Buyers find, identify and assess Diverse Suppliers they can invite to Tender.

In 2025 Kaleida will publish £800b in both Public and Private sector tenders for suppliers, and Diverse suppliers to apply to. By increasing access to commercial opportunity, we believe we can drive equality through providing access to economic parity.
